Abstract
Built in 1911, the church and its manse are a fairly typical example of the Mission Style. Note, for example, the stuccoed wall (instead of adobe) and the shaped gable which rises as a parapet above the roofline. A Sunday school building was added later, in keeping with the rest. The second building boom, of the 1920s, would see many of these Mediterranean flavored buildings.
