Abstract

Death entry for David Small. The Tampa Tribune published an article about David Small on August 28, 1911, page 12. The article stated that he had never regained consciousness. The Tampa Tribune of August 30, 1911, page 8, reported that an operation was performed on David Small at Clara Frye Hospital on August 29, 1911. He was injured falling from a Seaboard freight train and lay in a ditch for several hours before being rescued. He had been unconscious since the accident.
