Abstract
Dr. Gary Mormino begins his walking tour of the Ybor City area of Tampa, Florida, standing in the courtyard of the Ybor City Museum State Park. Dr. Mormino discusses the beginnings of the cigar industry in Ybor, founded by Vicente Martinez Ybor, with factory workers consisting of Spanish, Italian, and Cuban immigrants.
