Abstract

H. Lee Moffitt is a USF alumnus who became Speaker of the House of Representatives in Florida. Moffitt pushed in the Legislature for a cancer treatment and research center in Florida. The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute on the Tampa campus is named in his honor.
