Abstract
On July 31, 2014, Mary Adkins, the 2014 Riordan Fellow, discussed her research on the creation of Florida's first modern constitution in 1968 and the subsequent revision commissions. She highlighted how Florida transformed from a backwoods government to a forward-looking reform government in just a few years.
