Abstract
Paper "Basic Concepts and Applications of Survival Analysis" presented by Ross Andel on November 7, 2008 during a Research Methods Workshop held at The Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Andel's paper was on survival analysis, or a group of statistical methods used to study the occurrence and timing of various events such as the onset of a health condition or a disease, institutionalization, incarceration, hospitalization, marriage, divorce, retirement, or death.
