Abstract
Gerhard Meisels, former USF Provost and a professor of Chemistry, discusses USF history from his perspective as Provost. Subjects include developing teaching, research and public services, training secondary math and science teachers, student affairs, campus activities, and developing a plan for the future. He also served as Director of the Coalition for Science Literacy.
