Abstract
Miscellaneous materials created shortly after the passing of Dr. David R. Carr on 13 November 2009. These items offer a biographical portrait of Carr, describe his University service for more than 35 years, and capture reflections of those who knew him well. The biographical statement by Schnur briefly summarizes his life. The PDF of the PowerPoint tribute--designed by Schnur and Tschiderer--played during a 19 February 2010 celebration of his life in the library's atrium. The tribute remarks, compiled by Tschiderer, were delivered during this large gathering in the library.
