Abstract
Dr. James Welsh, Florida Center for Instructional Technology (FCIT) director and co-creator of Tampa Theatre Film Camp (TTFC), describes creating and structuring Film Camp. He elaborates on his experiences working with the kids and the challenges of embracing emerging technological trends in filmmaking. Welsh fondly recounts some of his favorite films from the camp and emphasizes how the Tampa Theatre Summer Film Camp encourages communication and collaboration skills among children
