Abstract
Ken Stein, the president and CEO of the League of Historic American Theatres, shares his extensive knowledge of theatre architecture and illustrates the history of movie houses, palaces, and multi-plexes with Andy Huse, Jill Witecki, and Joey Hager. He provides insight into his position and aspirations to preserve historic movie theaters. Ken Stein conveys his admiration for the Tampa Theatre, which he considers an atmospheric theatre like none other. Stein also reflects on the differences between the Tampa and other historic theatres nationwide.
