Abstract
Rob Mueller, son of Bud Mueller, discusses the Tampa Theatre and his family's extensive involvement with various theaters in Tampa. In this interview, Mueller recounts his father's work as a manager of air-conditioning systems with the Florida State Theatre chain and shares his and his brother's experiences as theater ushers. He provides vivid memories of his early experiences at the Tampa Theatre and reflects on the renowned projectionist Fink Finley. Mueller also explores the landscape of other theaters in Tampa, detailing the different chains that operated them. Additionally, he offers a nostalgic description of Franklin Street in the 1990s, highlighting several prominent stores from that era.
