Abstract
This interview follows Steve Persall, a former film critic for the St. Petersburg Times (now the Tampa Times), and Dianne Persall, a retired school teacher. Steve Persall recounts his career as a film critic, highlighting some of his favorite films and discussing the differences between watching television and experiencing movies in a theater. The Persall share their love for the Tampa Theatre, where they had their first date, and continue celebrating their anniversaries. They also discuss how the Tampa Theatre differs from other movie theaters and describe how its ability to adapt has allowed it to thrive.
