Abstract
Daniel Cura, a Tampa-born artist and writer for Creative Loafing Tampa, reflects on his personal history with the Tampa Theatre. He recounts family outings to the theater, his initial visit, and significant family events, such as his grandparents' first date and his own first date with his now-wife. Cura also explores his Cuban heritage and expresses his deep appreciation for culture and the arts.
