Student Academic Success and Support Services

This collection includes newsletters, presentations, and resources related to student academic success and support services. Among the materials in this collection are documents related to the federal TRiO initiative that began at USF St. Petersburg campus in spring 2011 and has offered mentors and services that promote academic support. TRiO services began with the passage of federal programs such as Upward Bound during the 1960s. Higher Education Amendments have allowed for the creation of diverse programs throughout the United States, such as the TRiO initiative at USF St. Petersburg campus.
