A Black family poses by a fence on the Slaymaker property.

A group of children and adults pose together on a wooden fence in front of a line of trees. Some of the children are seated on the fence while most of the adults stand behind it; some of them holding the smallest children. There appear to be buildings and carriages in the background behind them, just barely visible through the gaps in the fenceline.
