Why Sponsor?
On November 10-12th, we’ll explore the microbial world as it applies to human health, agriculture, the biotechnology industry, education and the environment. This year’s conference will place a particular focus on the ever increase problem of antimicrobial resistance, and the public health crisis it is causing.
We have the following sponsorships available:
Luncheon ($4,000 USD each):
Sponsor one of two luncheons (Saturday or Sunday). Your organization will be recognized at the luncheon. Sponsor can supply materials that will be placed on attendee’s tables; at sponsor’s own cost.
Limit: 2 sponsors
Break Sponsorship- ($2,000 USD each):
(Two available each day, one sponsor per break)
1. Logo ID at break set-up and logo in select promotional materials (Subject to deadlines)
2. Market your company face-to-face onsite at break time
- Table and space provided directly adjacent to coffee and refreshments during the sponsored break
Tote Bag ($3,000 USD):
Have your company name in the hands of all attendees by sponsoring the bags they carry to hold all of the information they receive on the show floor. Your logo and message will be walking through the entire expo!
Limit: 1 sponsor
Tote Bag Insert Sponsorship ($500 USD each):
This is a very cost-effective way to promote your company, product, or service. Companies are invited to provide promotional material or one product sample, which will be included in all conference packets. Size of promotional material: We will accept an 8-1/2 x 11 flyer to a maximum of two single pages/or a DL size brochure/pamphlet. Full details covering quantities required, the delivery date and address, will be provided upon receipt of written confirmation and payment. Each attendee is handed a tote bag at registration when they pick up their name badge.
- Opportunity to include one (1) 8 ½” x 11” literature item or giveaway item for inclusion in event tote bags.
- Tote bag insert must be created and produced by sponsoring company. Final piece or promotional object must be approved before company ships it to USF.

Full Page – Black/White - $250
Full Page – Color - $500
Dimensions – 8”x10” no bleed.
Lanyard Sponsorship ($2,500):
Each attendee will receive this item during registration and will wear it throughout the duration of the event.
Limit: 1 sponsor
PAYMENT: USF will invoice Sponsor for the fees associated with its chosen level of sponsorship for the Event (“Sponsorship Fee”). Payment is due net 30 days from the invoice date and 60 days prior to conference. Except as otherwise set forth herein, the Sponsorship Fee is nonrefundable and non-cancelable. USF reserves the right to revoke or prevent Sponsor’s Event participation in the event of non-payment.
Checks are to be made payable to USF and mailed to: University of South Florida-Events and Marketing, 4202 E. Fowler Avenue, Mail Stop CPR 107, Tampa, FL 33620 to the attention of Christina Goldstein, Conference and Events Planner.
CANCELLATION: In the event Sponsor wishes to cancel all or part of its participation in the Event, Sponsor must send notice of cancellation in writing to cvgoldstein@usf.edu. Sponsor shall be liable for one-hundred percent (100%) of the total Sponsorship Fee. Sponsor is responsible for payment of the Sponsorship Fee irrespective of the reason for Sponsor’s cancellation. In the event of cancellation by Sponsor, USF reserves the right to use or resell Sponsor’s canceled Event participation. USF re-allocation of Sponsor’s Event participation shall not excuse Sponsor from payment of the Sponsorship Fees assessed hereunder. USF reserves the right to cancel the Event or to terminate this Agreement for any reason at any time upon written notice to Sponsor. Upon cancellation or termination by USF, USF’s sole liability to Sponsor, and Sponsor’s exclusive remedy, shall be a refund of the Sponsorship Fees paid by Sponsor under this Agreement.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: USF shall in no event be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or damages for loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, incurred by Sponsor, whether such action is in contract or tort, even if USF has been advised of the possibility of such damages. USF’s entire liability for damages hereunder shall in no event exceed the Sponsorship Fee paid by Sponsor under this Agreement.
