Note

This shows three marble fragments belonging to an ancient Equestrian statue Rampin Rider or Rampin Horseman, dating to the Greek Archaic period. The top left section is part of the horse's head, showing it stylized muzzle, mouth, and eye. On the right is a piece of the horse's mane featuring an intricately carved, wavy line characteristic of the era. It also contains tiny drilled holes for a metal bridle and reins that would have originally been attached. On the bottom is a preserved portion of the horse's leg leading down to its hoof. They were unearthed on the Acropolis of Athens in the late 19th century. These fragments are currently held in the Acropolis Museum, Athens, Greece.
