Note

This caryatid is one from a pair of mirror-image korai, which supported the entablature of the Siphnian Treasury porch rather than columns. Her face is round with finely combed hair crimped in front, with four tendrils falling over each shoulder. Holes are testaments to ornaments and earrings. Her chiton is slightly crinkled with a scooped neck. On her head is a kalathos, a drum-like element, decorated with satyrs and nymphs in high relief. This work is currently held at the Delphi Archaeological Museum, Greece.
