Abstract
This leaf contains the beginning part of the O intemerata (O immaculate virgin) prayer addressing the Virgin Mary. This prayer was most commonly found in Books of Hours, the comparable lay version of the liturgical Breviary.
Decoration
Three-quarter page foliate border emerging from a gold and blue bar in left margin, consisting of small gold leaves and various flowers with black hairline sprays. Four-line decorated initial O in blue, red and mauve on gold ground that begins the O intemerata.
