Text identification: Cat. 27: The prayer, commissioned by Ehte-Marian, offers protection against hemorrhaging. Cat. 28: features prayers and images for protection against infertility made for a female named Welte-Hiwot. Cat. 29: invokes aid from the Archangel Fanuel. Provenance: Purchased from Christie, Manson, and Woods: Valuable illuminated manuscripts, printed books and autograph letters including the property of an Athenian collector, Monday 29 November, 1999, lot 23, nos. 2 & 3, lot 25, no. 4. Items in this collection are only available online; we do not have physical copies of these items in the USF Library's Special Collections. The original items were returned to the donor.
