Abstract

As the musical counterpart to the Breviary, Antiphonals contain the music and chant necessary for the Divine Office.

Decoration

Five five-line staves in red with black neumes. Two large decorated initials with extensive blue and red flourishes.

Text Identification

Benedictus antiphon for the Octave of Easter at Lauds: Post dies octo januis clausis, ingressus Dominus dixit eis: Pax vobis alleulia alleulia.
