Class schedules provide a record of the courses and curriculum offered at an academic institution. The documents contained in this section include schedules of courses offered by USF St. Petersburg, at off-site locations under the academic administration of USFSP, distance education classes taught by USFSP faculty, and USF System courses offered on the St. Petersburg campus.
Schedules appearing in this collection have three possible formats. Although paper schedules did exist until the early 2000s, all schedules from the Fall 1998 semester through the most recent semester available consist of PDF snapshots extracted from OASIS, the academic management software used by the USF System. These snapshots include actual enrollment information in each class, as well as the instructor of record. For courses offered prior to the Fall 1998 semester, the digital archive contains either a PDF image of the original schedule booklet issued at USFSP or--if such a booklet is not maintained in the physical archive--a PDF image of USF St. Petersburg courses listed in the schedule book printed for all campuses in the USF System. Some courses listed in the pre-1998 sources may have been cancelled and other courses may have been added after these documents were printed, so they do not offer an exact record of the classes available at the time.
Please note that the schedules contained in this archive do include course details for classes offered in the College of Marine Science, a Tampa-based academic unit located on the physical footprint of Bayboro Harbor. Prior to the creation of a separate College of Marine Science and USF St. Petersburg receiving separate regional accreditation within the USF System, such classes were considered to be part of the curriculum at USFSP.
