Abstract
reviews methods for the development and measurement of criteria of individual job performance / provides a comprehensive review of methodological advances, research results, and personnel research applications of performance ratings / review [includes] . . . the evaluations of different rating forms, results of training directed toward reducing rating errors, and questions and research results related to such matters as accuracy and the convergent and discriminant validities of ratings gives critical attention to so-called objective criteria such as turnover, sales volume, error rates, and work samples / presents examples of how structural and latent variable modeling has been used in studying performance constructs as a means of enhancing scientific understanding of the underlying dimensionality of individual performance in work settings
