Abstract
Part Two, "Bugles and Billy Bowlegs" of Tony Pizzo's Tampa Series aired on WUSF in 1979. The episode had guest speaker Charles Knight and told of Tampa history from the establishment of Fort Brooke to the end of the three Seminole Wars. Includes how the Seminole came to Florida from Georgia and time in Florida, the Treaty of Moultrie Creek and their expulsion to reservations by President Andrew Jackson. Includes mention of Chief Micanopy, Chief Osceola, Major Francis Langhorne Dade, Polly Parker, and Chief Holata Micco (known as Billy Bowlegs)
