Abstract
Photograph of multiple people viewing the ruins of Altun Ha, Belize, an ancient Mayan city. A large stone pyramid, surrounded by trees and other vegetation, is seen in the middle of the photograph. This photograph was taken by Dr. John C. Ogden when he and his colleagues visited Altun Ha, Belize before they departed on their research expedition to Miskito Bank, Nicaragua aboard the R/V [Research Vessel] Alpha Helix from October 13, 1977 to November 18, 1977 where their research included studies on seagrasses, fish, sea urchins, and the green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas).
