Abstract

Photograph of multiple people aboard a Nicaraguan lobster fishing boat near Miskito Cays, Nicaragua. Dr. John C. Ogden and his colleagues encountered the Nicaraguan lobster fishing boat while they were undertaking a research expedition to Miskito Bank, Nicaragua from October 13, 1977 to November 18, 1977 aboard the R/V [Research Vessel] Alpha Helix. Dr. Ogden noted in his field journals that the ship was from Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua and that many of those aboard the ship were boys around the age of 12.
