Binder 07: Field Notes and Documents

Binder #7 was created by Dr. John C. Ogden with a collection of materials related to his (and his colleagues') November 1981 scientific research project studying the foraging behavior of Rainbow Parrotfish (Scarus guacamia) in the Salt River submarine canyon off the coast of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, while living and working in Hydrolab, an underwater laboratory located on the seafloor which allowed scientists to live and work underwater for extended periods of time. Materials include project planning and logistics related documents, aquanaut excursion logs, daily narrative logs, sketches of fish, a marine flora survey report by Nancy Ogden, fish ultrasonic tracking datasheets, a scientific paper draft titled "Tracking the Buffaloes of the Coral Reef - A Mission in Hydrolab." These documents and field notes are from Binder 7 of the John C. Ogden Caribbean and Coral Reef Collection.
