Abstract
Nancy Ogden, of West Indies Laboratory, SCUBA diving and swimming in front of the porthole window of Hydrolab, an underwater laboratory located on the seafloor which allowed scientists to live and work underwater for extended periods of time. Interior sleeping areas of Hydrolab can be seen through the porthole windows. At the time of the photograph, Hydrolab was located at a depth of approximately 50 feet in Salt River submarine canyon, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.
