Abstract
Two SCUBA divers with a green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) swimming along a coral reef near Salt River submarine canyon, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. One diver is holding onto the lower half of the green sea turtle's shell while a fish appears to be attached to the upper half of its shell. Many species of corals and sea sponges can be seen in the photograph.
