Abstract
A view of coral bleaching in Pulau Tikus, Indonesia, taken during the 1982-1983 El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO) event. The corals exhibit signs of severe bleaching, with many appearing white and stressed due to elevated sea temperatures caused by the ENSO phenomenon.
