Abstract
A close up photograph of dead grass (Thalassia testudinum) in Florida Bay in the Florida Everglades.
Alt Text
A patch of thick, green seagrass surrounds a section of dead seagrass on the ocean floor. The sandy seabed is visible in the areas where the grass has died and natural light illuminates the area. Between the dead blades of grass, thin pieces of living grass have begun to grow.
