Abstract
An underwater photograph of a coral reef near a location known as "Cochinos Station 11", near the northwest side of Cochino Grande in the Cayos Cochinos archipelago, off the northern coast of Honduras. The platy (flat) morphological form of boulder star coral, also called lobed star coral, (Orbicella annularis, formerly known as Montastrea annularis) is seen in the photograph. The boulder star coral was noted by Dr. John C. Ogden as "dying" and being overgrown by algae of Genus Lobophora.
