Abstract
An underwater photograph of two SCUBA divers swimming at a depth of 4 meters along a coral reef near Fantasy Island Resort on the island of Roatán, off the northern coast of Honduras. The two SCUBA divers are identified as Michael Lang, Diving Supervisor of the Smithsonian Institution, and Jeremy Jackson, Chief Scientist of the R/V (Research Vessel) Urraca, a research vessel belonging to the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in the country of Panama. Several species of corals are seen in the photograph, possibly including elkhorn coral (Acropora palmata) and thin leaf lettuce coral (Agaricia tenuifolia).
