Abstract
A panel from the exhibit "From Fiddler Crabs to a Harbor with Class: A History of Bayboro Harbor and the University of South Florida St. Petersburg" celebrating the fortieth anniversary of the university. The first campus of Eckerd College occupied the site of the former Maritime Base along Bayboro Harbor. Originally chartered as Florida Presbyterian College, this liberal arts institution used the buildings on location while construction of the current Eckerd College campus took place.
