Abstract
A panel from the exhibit "From Fiddler Crabs to a Harbor with Class: A History of Bayboro Harbor and the University of South Florida St. Petersburg" celebrating the fortieth anniversary of the university. After federal authorities decommissioned the Maritime Base, the future of this site remained uncertain. In May 1954, the city took possession of the buildings at Bayboro Harbor under a lease agreement.
