Abstract

"On September 2, 1992, a tsunami was generated by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake off the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. The research focus was on the determination of societal impacts with particular interest on relationships between land use and damaging patterning as well as integrative and secondary impacts."
