Abstract
This workshop recording features Business Librarian Nora Wood and Assistant Director of Career Planning Alicia Walker presenting strategies for preparing for job interviews. Wood demonstrates how to research companies and industries using sources such as annual reports, SEC filings, Mergent Online, Standard & Poor’s NetAdvantage, ReferenceUSA, ABI/INFORM, and Business Source Premier. Walker provides guidance on professional dress, online image management, self-assessment, and responding to behavioral interview questions using the STAR method. Participants discuss industries, example companies, and research challenges, and the presenters outline USF resources, including Suit-a-Bull, LinkedIn use, and mock interview tools to support students’ interview preparation.
