Abstract

PsycInfo is one of the fundamental databases for research in the social and behavioral sciences. It focusses on quality research articles that focus on health from a psychosocial or 'community' perspective. The database lets you search on keywords and subject headings, and then combine them to narrow your search. There are additional delimiters that address the field of study, age groups, language preferences, and methodology. This range of delimiters lets the researcher create a tightly focused search. Selected articles may then be downloaded to a citation management program.
