Abstract
An oral history with Josephine Carter and Beatrice Lohman (both pseudonyms), lesbians who met in at a Unitarian Universalist congregation in Provincetown, Massachusetts. They spoke of dating and police raids on LGBTQ+ bars and establishments in their early days as a couple. They talked about finding the retirement community they eventually moved to in Florida (potentially Palms of Manasota in Palmetto) and the community they built.
