Abstract
An oral history with Merrell T. Dickey, an ordained gay Catholic priest. Merrell attended the University of South Florida and was involved in the Sigma Ki fraternity. He spoke about going to a Catholic seminary and the struggle between their sexuality and the tenants of Catholicism. They speak about counseling patients and parishioners with AIDS and how close reading of the Bible and conversations with a counselor made them leave the Catholic Church.
