Abstract
An oral history with Sally Phillips, a lesbian who lived in various areas of North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to Tampa. They speak of their coming out experience and how many of their friends were gay men. They spoke of caring for friends who would die of AIDS, and their political work with the Tampa AIDS Network (TAN) and the GLBT Democratic Caucus.
