Abstract

Data provided by monitoring well and water yield measuring object system in the Bükk Mountains were used in groundwater quality and quantity evaluations and state assessment of cold karstic groundwater bodies in the course of groundwater management planning. These will also be the two key purposes in groundwater management in the future. Nowadays automatic groundwater level, temperature and electric conductivity measuring instruments can be operated by transmitter. The future aim is development of an on-line monitoring system which is accessible for everybody concerned.
