Abstract
This article presents a copy of a bottle not published before, belonging to the formative and found in a cave near Sacalum, Yucatan. Also, some comparisons will be made between bottles in general, and supports in particular, to point out similarities between the monopody vessel of Yucatan and others that have been found inside and outside the limits of Mesoamerica excluding those of Japan and the Mediterranean area. Some of those comparisons might seem faint, but the fact remains that there are similarities. Several fragments of other types of cramics were collected in the cave, but the bottle has been chosen with speciality not only because it is relatively unique, but also because the other fragments are no longer in my possession.
