Abstract

Amphora-shaped vessel opens with a flaired lip to admit a kohl stick. Two cm. below the lip is a slight shoulder ridge. Below the ridge, the vessel tapers to a rounded point. Just below the shoulder, a loop was attached on either side. One loop has broken away. The kohl stick is 7.9 cm. long with a small knob at the upper end and a rounded point at the other. An embellishment may have been broken away from the upper end. The stick fits closely in the neck of the vessel and extends 0.4 cm above the lip of the vessel.
