Rebranding : The Journal of Tourism Regeneration (ISSN 3021-3584) was formerly published under the title Journal of Sustainability and Resilience (JSR) (ISSN 2744-3620). This rebranding reflects a strategic shift to focus more specifically on the evolving field of regenerative tourism, addressing the need for research and discourse on sustainable practices that go beyond minimising harm to actively restoring and revitalising tourism destinations. By transitioning to the Journal of Tourism Regeneration, the publication aims to highlight innovative strategies, policies, and case studies that contribute to environmental restoration, community well-being, and economic resilience within the tourism sector. This transformation aligns with global trends in sustainable development and offers a dedicated platform for academics, practitioners, and policymakers to explore and advance regenerative tourism practices.
