Abstract
A 3-part grave consisting of bronze plaque, cantoned box tomb, and 2-tier granite podium with bronze bust of Verot. Ledger edges are coarse and unrefined. The granite for the ledger is slightly different in appearance than the rest of the monument.

A three-dimensional model of a grave site consisting of three, separate pieces of dark grey granite that memorialize a man named Jean-Pierre Augustin Marcellin Verot. A bronze bust of Mr. Verot sits atop a granite plinth at the head of his grave, a box tomb made of the same dark granite. At the foot of the tomb is a final granite stone that is slightly lower than the box tomb and has a metal plaque with a life history of Mr. Verot written in French attached to it. Engraved into the top of Mr. Verot's tomb is the following English dedication: "In memory of Jean-Pierre Augustin Marcellin Verot, born May 23, 1805 [in] LePuy, France. Died June 10, 1876 [in] St. Augustine, Florida; Ordained Priest September 20, 1828 [in] Paris, France; Teacher and Pastor, 1830-1858 [in] Maryland; Consecrated Bishop April 25, 1858 [in] Baltimore; Vicar Apostolic of Florida, 1858-1870; Third Bishop of Savannah, 1861-1870; First Bishop of St. Augustine, March 11, 1870 - June 10, 1876; A lasting example of love, honesty, courage, devotion to duty, care for the poor, defense of the helpless and holy Christian life. Requiescat in Pace." The 3D model can be freely rotated, moved, and zoomed in and out, allowing the viewer to examine various details from multiple angles.
