Alt Text
A three-dimensional model of an attachment for a .38 Special or .357 Magnum revolver that allowed the operator to use and launch "riot control" grenades, like tear gas or other chemical substance. This Smith & Wesson "Mighty Midget" grenade launcher includes detailed instructions on its use, which are printed on a silver sticker that is attached to the large, round, black barrel of the attachment. A clamp-like device at the base of the launcher allowed a revolver operator to insert the barrel of their weapon into the launcher barrel and tighten it. Once attached, a special "launching cartridge" was loaded into the gun's cylinder in place of bullets and a "Mighty Midget grenade" canister would be inserted into the launcher barrel. After these steps were done, when the gun was fired, the grenade of gas would be launched. The model can be moved, rotated, and zoomed in and out, allowing the viewer to examine the object's details from multiple angles.
