Alt Text
A three-dimensional model of riding spurs that police officers would attach to their footwear while on horseback. The spur has eight points that extend from its center, which is suspended by the small bar of a metal, clamp-like device, allowing the spur to spin freely. This part, in turn, is welded to a flat, curved piece of metal that would sit at the back of the user's boot while an attached leather strap would go over the top, with a belt-like closure that allowed it to be tightened as needed for the size of the user's foot. The strap of this spur has decorative, floral designs impressed into the leather. The model can be moved, rotated, and zoomed in and out, allowing the viewer to examine the object's details from multiple angles.
