Abstract

This thesis will focus on current efforts to culture Caribbean King Crabs for coral restoration as an ecologically effective marine conservation method that incorporates indigenous species and provides socioeconomic benefit to the surrounding communities. A literature review with integrated interviews from professionals currently working to culture M. spinosissimus for reef restoration will be conducted. Following the literature review will be an interactive ArcGIS Story Map on current efforts to culture M. spinosissimus for reef restoration, presented in English and Spanish.
