Abstract
Dixie Hollins shared childhood memories and his experiences of growing up on Hollinswood Ranch. In particular, Hollins mentioned his work with friends and what he learned from ranch hand William "W.C." Priest. Hollins also spoke of being the heir to the ranch and how his responsibilities expanded as he learned about land, forest, deer management, and zoning laws. Hollins also spoke about the challenges of dealing with trespassers, deer hunting regulations, and resolving conflicts on the ranch today.
